My first Rotary meeting!

Was this morning!

The Sunnybank Hills Rotary Club invited me to give a talk so Anne Brand picked me up at the awful hour of 6:20am, with the meeting starting at 7 am. We arrived, and set up the projector and my laptop, and then had breakfast while meeting everyone. (The was the usual things for breakfast like eggs, sausage, fruit, hash browns. And then there were also beans and grilled tomatoes)

The club is smaller than my DeLand club, but it was nice to be able to get to meet everyone. The Sunnybank Hills club is hosting a Youth Exchange Program student, so I sat next to Natasha from... Denmark, I think. She will be going to the District Conference this coming weekend, so we made plans to meet again.

The Rotary meeting was run very similar to those at home, but without the singing. =D Instead, there was a prayer, and then down to business. At 7:35 I made my debut, and I feel like my speech went pretty well, so I was happy. I answered some questions, and then it was over.
