The book that I requested (Acorna's Rebels, the sixth book in a ten book series) finally arrived at the library, so today I went to go pick it up. I also grabbed a series by Margaret Weis (the Dragonvarld Trilogy) and returned a couple of books that I had checked out last time - The Cat Who Went Bananas, by Lillian Jackson Braun (I wouldn't recommend this - it wasn't very good), Magic Street by Orson Scott Card (good read!), and The Black Swan by Mercedes Lackey (another good story).
A little later, I went to campus to finally get my enrollment pack. After waiting in the line for an hour, I found out it wasn't ready yet. Gah! So I went to hang out in the library for a while until my class started at 4pm.
Luckily, while I was in the library, one of my classmates approached me and asked about the change of venue for the class. What change of venue? The one the lecturer emailed about. Email that I don't get. Because I am not enrolled. Hmfph! It turned out that the class was being held in one of the computer rooms downstairs in the library, which was convenient.
That class was Foundations for Health Professionals, and I had no idea what to expect, but it wasn't too bad. It is scheduled for four hours, but we were only there for about an hour and 45 minutes, learning how to use PubMed (which most of us have already used). We had a short assignment to do (which I can't do yet either) and that was it! Good times!
